Safer to buy a PowerMac or a PowerBook?

If you weren't going to buy Applecare and setting aside system specs, what you'll be using it for, etc... which would be more reliable?

Power/i Book failure complaints are frequent.

Desktop hands down. The first good reason - It isn't moved.

Second, far more upgradeable.

The thing is, any machine you buy can breakdown! it is almost a gamble, However I have to agree, the desktop would be a safer option because it will not be moved all the time, saying that though, If you need something to move around with get a powerbook and bubble rap it when on the move!!! Lol:D
