Alrighty, I've got a Quiksilver lying around that I've finally decided to get rid of. About 2 years ago the Power Supply on this guy died and I put it in the closet, intending to order a new one but I just never got around to it. It's without a HDD, video card, and ram.

So, I'm here to see if anyone is interested in purchasing it. According to the back of the case it's a model #M8493 (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42739). It'll obviously cost quite a bit to ship so more than likely I'll just pull out the motherboard and box it up to sell.

So, let's say, motherboard and optical drive $75 shipped?

If you live in the Gulf Coast area I have absolutely no problem with arranging a pick-up if you want the case and all, but that's entirely up to you.

You know what? Make me an offer. I don't need the thing and it's just taking up space.

huummm....FYI: I've sold several Sawtooth mobos on ebay recently, bare boards.... no cpu's, HS or anything else for $25, so you may wanna consider that (for the cpu too) as a partial solution. And depending on what kind of optical drive it has, you should be able to get ~$7-15 just for it, even around here :p

and FWIW, the bare cases are REALLY hard to get rid of......

Do you know what speed processor is in there?

I'm almost certain it's 867mhz.

It has a USB card in it, and I have a PC133 ram module I can toss in. I also have a video card that I'm not certain if it's a Mac card or not.

yeah if it has a dual processor card, you will fetch quite a bit for it. i just got $66 for my dual 500. the dual 1ghz will get you well over $100 alone. i sold my case for $25, even being modded. and the motherboard isn't really much worth crap, $10-15 most.

Oh yeah, if I could get rid of the mobo/cpu, I'd just toss out the case.

That being said, $75 in my initial post sounds a bit high, but I'd like to have at least $50 for it.
