i recently bought this stand for my macbook pro. you can check it out here (http://www.powersupportusa.com/products/macbook_dockingstand.php). i recently sold my macbook pro, and now i have a stand with nothing to use it with. it didn't even get a month's use. it currently sells for $45 plus tax and shipping. i'm asking for $35 shipped. US only please.

while it is pretty, im not sure i understand the purpose, does it have plugs somewhere to connect to a monitor?

it's pretty much intended for those who use their laptops solely with their external monitors. it did look pretty, which was why i got it. but now i have an empty stand sitting on my bookshelf.

I'd be on this if I had a Macbook. Won't work with my MBP because it'll block the optical drive. I'd love something like this to free up some space on my desk.

If you put your MBP in it so that the :apple: is in the correct orientation, the optical drive is on top. Is it not? Or is my logo upside down?

the optical drive would, indeed, be oriented on top.

I called them actually about that and they said it was slightly lifted. They claim to have never had issues with heat. I was about to buy from them when I saw this. Payment has been sent btw. ;)
