DVD-R/RW drive(s) help

Forgive my ignorance, but I've never used a DVD burner before and therefore know nothing about them.

I'm looking at an auction now for a Pioneer DVR-104 DVD-R/RW & DVR-103 DVD-R/RW. The seller says that the drive should be useable with the MDD PowerMacs.

Is this true? I'm looking for a DVD-R drive that I can use with iDvd and Toast and all that.

that model drive is the EXACT same model that apple used for many revisions of the powermacs and imac. So yes it will do exactly what you want
