I am looking for a 9.2 RETAIL install cd that someone could sell me. I would like to close the deal today if someone could reply to me soon.
Thanks

I have a Mac OS 9.0.1 CD on sale at my Macrumors thread. All the updates to 9.2 are free, check it out.

Is this a retail disk? Also where can I find the updates. I have found them online (non apple site) but they don't decompress out into a usable installer.

Well here is Apples download page for different classic updates (http://download.info.apple.com/Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/English-North_American/Macintosh/System/).

I will sell a full install, retail version of OS 9.0.1 for 39$, I will haggle the price a little bit if you want.

You don't need a retail install disk, AFAIK... I've used an iMac 9.2.1 install CD on my Beige G3 several times, including booting.
But yeah. 9.2.2 is free if you have 9.0.. though you have to do updates in order, you can't move from 9.0 directly to 9.2.2.

Thanks for the link, I had done some digging but I didn't get to do very much.

We have a lot of older Macs here that we are repurposing. I noticed that you used an iMac install cd to install onto your Beige G3, you had no problems? I have a G4 install cd that is an OS9 installer but I was thinking that it probably wouldn't work.

OS 9 was the last of the non machine specific grey install disks IIRC. I've used the one from my G4 Quicksilver to install on my PowerBook G3 when the HD died and I couldn't find the G3's disks.

I have OS 8.5 with the install disk, manuals, and original box. PM me if you're interested.
