I installed a Best Skins Ever protector on it the moment I took it out of the box.

Has the $20 purchased January software upgrade.

Buyer pays actual shipping costs.

On the back there seems to be somewhat of an impression on the lower right but I think it is an illusion caused by the skin. The unit has never been dropped or abused.

NOTE: What looks to be scratches on the back is a "grain" the skin has to it. There are NO scratches on the actual iPod and in person the shield looks very clear and sharp.

I can attest to the image the pictures convey. I have a BSE on a few items and it creates a little "graininess" that is visible in photos or when the unit is off and there is a glare. However, when you look at it normally in just about any situation, it looks crystal clear, and when the screen is on you can't even tell anything is on it. Having the BSE already installed is a good selling point IMO.

I would jump at this if I had the money. Good deal.

There aren't actually any scratches. The skin just looks like that when you shine a flash on it.
