Fast User Switching - Icon instead of Name

Fast User Switching is nice, but I already have lots of stuff in my menu bar (Konfabulator, Proteus, Temperature Monitor, MenuMeters, Display, AirPort, Sound, Battery, Time).

Anyone found a way to make it show the user Icon instead of the user name?

This is a feature I would love as well. My user name is my first and last name, and I can't stand how much space it takes up.

yeah that icon idea would definitely look really good...dare i say it...but it looks a lil messy to have all the menu bar completely consumed by icons along with a long name to switch users. an icon with some sorta twisting arrow would be great, accompanied by a drop down menu...but im sure they'll read some of these threads and get the hint...cross ur fingers for 10.3.1
