Panther on G3 iMac

I upgraded to Panther on my dual G5 and it seems to running very smoothly - is it my imagination but is the 23in cinema display even sharper?

Before I put Panther on my wife's G3/300Mhz iMac - has anyone else done this and is it OK? She currently had 10.2.6

you are most likely not imagining things with your cinema display. according to apple there is some new ways of sending information to LCDs in panther. you can get a tiny blurb about it here...

as far as the imac question, i have no idea, but i would guess you will probably be just fine with panther if you have been running jag.

Works great on my iMac DV SE 400.

I did an Archive & Install from Jag. 10.2.8 (second version).

No serious problems, except Eudora can't send mail for some reason, so I've switched over to Mail.
