Looking for a Santa Rosa Blackbook or Macbook Pro, used. Not looking to steal anyone's items, but just looking for items that beat Apple's refurb deals

Primarily looking for SR models for the 4gb capability and 802.11n wifi.

Maybe somebody wants to dump theirs to upgrade to the new machines?

Well I am selling my Santa Rosa MacBook Pro I purchased in August. So warrenty is good for 1 year.

15" Matte
2.4GHz
4GB DDR2 From Crucial
160GB 5400RPM HDD

It came with Tiger and iLife 06. I have Leopard and iLife 08 which will also be included.

I was going to ask 1900 even for it shipped. But hit me back if you have another offer.

Also, I have a 200GB 7200RPM Hard Drive I just purchased and was going to put it in here but havent yet. I would throw that in if you wanted. I dont know how you feel about upgrading the HDD in your Laptop. I wanted to, but then got too nervous to open this thing up.

Thats a great notebook! I should have outlined some more of my requirements.

1. Looking for the lowend MBP. 2.2ghz & glossy screen. Refurb on apple.com - 1449.

2. Blackbook as long as it's SR. Refurb on apple.com - 1049.

I'll obviously take into consideration RAM & extra applecare, etc.

The 7200 rpm drive would be amazing, but it's such a pain to open up Macbook Pros. On MB's - it's a breeze!

Gorgeous laptop but I'd like a superdrive and black wouldn't hurt either so that's why I guess I'm looking for a blackbook. Appreciate the reply though!

I could be... that sounds enticing. Is the HD 7200rpm?

I think it is 5400RPM however I am not sure. Either way it is very fast and I have never think about it. I love this laptop and it performs excellently doing everything I need it to but I need the money right now. I was hoping to get around $2000 for this laptop which is what I was told it was worth.

I forgot to mention, this laptop is in pristine condition and has been babied by me since I got it (I bought a top of the line cleaning kit for it which I would be happy to include) however the only imperfection is that it has a few scratches on the bottom near the battery. Again this is not something you will ever notice but I wanted to mention it to be fair.

I have the same exact laptop but with the matte screen. By the time these babies were coming out, most of the teething problems were gone on the Pros. Best laptop I've ever owned!

errol,
That is a very good deal, however my computer will outperform the other one if you need performance.
