Hello,

As I may be upgrading to 16GB for my 8-core Mac Pro for all the sub-spawning I do with Apple QMaster, I will no longer need this 8GB of RAM as there are no more slots to use it in :(

So, I'm looking to sell it all for $300 + shipping. A great deal for anyone looking to upgrade their RAM ... it's from TransIntl and it has a lifetime warranty.

Let me know if interested. Local NYC'ers can pick up in person if they wish.

Thanks!

The MP 2008 version is 800MHz Memory speed v. 667 Mhz Memory speed..

It looks like he pulled this from a 2008, based on his comments, so it will work with all of them because the older ones will simply downclock the memory from 800 to 667.

Yes, this will work in all Mac Pros, but it will run at 667 as opposed to 800 in the new Mac Pros.

I anyone wants to go halfsies, I need 4 of them (already have 4GB), so together we could each offer $150 for the set, if the OP is willing to ship to two locations.

I'm fine with this, as long as all 8GB sell. I just need to know before I purchase the new RAM.

I'm interested but need confirmation the 4GB will work with my 2 x 2.66 Mac Pro that already has the 4GB 667 MHz DDR2. I have 2GB of Apple RAM and 2GB Crucial. Don't want some incompatibility problem.

It'll work fine, I have a mix of ram in my Mac Pro as well.

Michael, PM me and OP if you want to take the other 4GB and we'll get this all put to bed :).
