I already placed my order for the new MBP and am selling my MacBook on Craigslist

2.0ghz Core Duo
60GB HD
2GB Ram
Superdrive
3 year Applecare (Exp 7/2009)

Has leopard installed. I am selling LEGAL licenses for MS Office 2008, iWork 08, and iLife 08 along with the computer.

The best offer i have gotten on craigslist is $700.00 dollars. Do you guys think that is a fair offer to accept?

700 is more than fair, a refurbished Core 2 Duo can be had for 849.

Those aren't especially difficult to find on CL for around 600 (w/o software).

EDIT: If Office, iLife, and iWork come with the computer than 700 is fair.

I'll give you $750 if you ship to the UK.

Is there any cosmetic marks at all? Also would you sell it cheaper without the software?

This would be fine, any MB would do great. I have an Rev A MB and it's perfect for what you described. Look below for price... Also take a look at refurbs on the Apple site.

anyways... Definitely not 800-900 range. $700

sorry guys but i found a local that wants to buy it for $700 cash on the spot. that beats me having to ship it anywhere. Thank you to everyone for putting in some advice on the price.

I just sold almost the exact same (applecare even ran to the same month) machine on these forums for $700. Only differences were that mine had an full body invisible shield, but I had none of that software.

So I'd have to say that with legal versions of that software (esp office!) it's worth quite a bit more...
