file vault just ruined me. anyone else?

so file vault has been acting pretty funny. sometimes when i log in, my clock or airport icon aren't showing up in the menu bar, things like that. however, this time, i tried downloading an album off iTunes music store, and my iTunes froze. So i restarted, and when i logged back in, nothing was in my menu bar, and my iTunes Music Library file was corrupted, and all my Safari bookmarks gone! Man, I am pissed. Now I am going to have to use PodRip or something to restore my playlists and play counts, and have to redo my bookmarks... i wish Apple would have ironed these things out prior to releasing a system upgrade.

anyone else having problems with file vault?

I'm not having a problem, but I'm not using File Vault for these reasons. It scares the **** out of me! If it goes wrong, bang, I can't get access to any of my stuff. I'm gonna wait a few .1 updates before I even think about it.
