FS: 17" 1.25 GHz G4 iMac

Hi guys,

I had a related thread on this as a Feeler and now am ready to sell...

So, now that I'm the proud owner of a nice new 24" iMac, I have no need for my old machine. I thought I would check with my fellow MacRumors members before proceeding with an eBay auction in case there is any interest here.

Here are the specs:

1.25 GHz G4 iMac
17" LCD
1 GB RAM
160 GB HDD
Superdrive
GeForce FX5200 Ultra 64 MB
OS X 10.3 Panther
Wired Apple Mouse & Keyboard
Harmon Kardon Crystal Orb Speakers

The machine still works great other than the Superdrive, which on occasion spits out burned media. DVDs and blank media are fine, but every once and a while it takes a second or third try to get a burned disc recognized and mounted. Other than that minor annoyance, no problems at all. The machine is in great condition and has been well taken care of, as I have a tendancy to be obsessive and/or anal retentive about my possessions, especially Apple-related ones! ;) :D

The Mac2Sell (http://www.mac2sell.net/) quoted value of my computer is $490 USD but I find that to be a little on the high side, especially with my SuperDrive not being perfect. Also, this machine does NOT have an Airport card, but will accept either Airport or Airport Extreme.

Shipping will depend on location, as I am in Canada, but I'll ship anywhere in North America. I'm guessing it will be roughly $50 due to the size and weight but I'll have to check... I still have the original box, packing, etc.

Don't mean to bump an old thread but just wanted to say that I bought this from Shard and was very pleased with the whole experience. Shard is a great seller and I only hope that my other future purchases will go as smoothly as this one did. Thanks Shard.
