Wow. I really really don't like those. I don't know why; something about the design just clashes with my taste. What is so appealing about them to you? Is something wrong with me?

If not for his signature, I would have said, "smells like spam".

I don't think so doc. I don't like them either. I am happily using my subdued bag from STM.

I had another look, the plain ones are not too bad! The ones with the designs though were absolutely repulsive. No offense, to each his/her own. :)

LOL! Glad you guys agree, I wanted to scream out in the same disgust but feared it would be rude. But yep those bags are FUGLY. Looks like one of those kindergarten backpacks with the cheap plastic lining. Nasty. :P

That's GOTTA be sarcasm. Then again, maybe not. I think they're pretty cheesy looking and, in fact, quite cheap looking, too. But who cares, eh? If you like 'em, fill your boots. (I probably shouldn't talk. I think the Alienware computers are neat.)

<Edit: Maybe it's a theft-deterrent. Who would think a 3-4 thousand dollar computer would be in one of those?>

i saw them at macworld and they're actually quite cool and well made, the padded pocket on the inside holds the laptop perfectly. also, you make the design which is like that old powerbook with the clear cover. don't like the look, change it.

maybe it's just a santa cruz thing, if you haven't been there, it might be hard to understand.

They definitely look like they are designed with women in mind...either that, or the Target crowd. Right now I am thinking about either a Brenthaven Professional backpack or a Spire Volt backpack for my new PowerBook since my Samsung bag can't fit the widescreen profile.

Honestly those may be the ugliest bags i have ever seen in my life...and to only think that someone would want to actaully put their stunning PB in that thing disgusts me to no end. When I got my new 15" 1.25 I immediatly got myself a bag from timbuk2. IMHO the best laptop bag I have ever owned and mind you I've been through 5 already.

....still shocked that someone honestly would ever consider putting a mac into that thing
