Just upgraded to the MBP 2.5 15" and will soon be selling my old powerbook. As title says, it's 12" powerbook, 1ghz G4, 1.25gb ram, 80gb western digital drive, 802.11b/g airport extreme card installed.

The 60gb drive went bad and I upgraded to an 80gb wd drive.

The Bad:

Combo drive will not burn cds and makes grinding noise when reading. Been that way since I bought it used off the marketplace here. Does not read sometimes. As such it must be considered unusable.

The F11 key will not stay on the clip. I screwed that up putting the hard drive in. Do have the key still, so maybe the clip can be replaced - I never checked.

The battery is only good for 1.5 - 2 hours

The Good:

Everything else works just fine.

Aesthetics:

Couple of minor scratches from standard use but otherwise acceptable.

Would come with 10.3.x install discs, mini vga, mini dvi, original manual, powerblock, iLife 06 (assuming I can find the disks), How-Do-Everything-Mac-Panther book (http://www.amazon.com/How-Do-Everything-Mac-Panther/dp/007225355X/ref=sr_11_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1205039262&sr=11-1). Wil also throw in a 5.25" cd burner if you want to buy an external usb/firewire case for it.

Won't be ready to actually sell for another week to ten days; want to make sure the new MBP remains problem free and to quadruple check that I've pulled everything off the powerbook.

My eBay profile is 'pedale'.

I'd give a 14 day guarantee that it comes as described.

I'd say a reasonable range for this would be 350-500. The extras help out a lot considering the failing combo drive and the screwed up F11 key.
