I bought this a few weeks back on eBay when I was taking the train to work, but since I've started driving in I don't really have a use for it.

Its a VERY cool iPod accessory - it allows you to take calls via your iPod! it also works as an FM Radio and a wired remote.

You can check out all of the details here:

I can verify that it DOES work as advertised! I used it on my iPod Touch and tried it out on my friends 5G iPod.

(For the Touch, the screen functions don't work, the device still does everything its supposed to, but for example you won't see the radio station displayed on the screen.. you just have to tun up/down until you hear what you want). It DOES do that on the non-touch iPods though.

I'm asking $50 for it. I paid $65.43 for it (after shipping costs, Paypal costs, etc from eBay) - I haven't found any US retailers selling this - the company is based in the UK and I bought it from an Australian dealer.

I do have the box and manual that came with it. It really is a neat gadget - the phone part itself is sweet, the FM Radio is an awesome bonus and the added luxury of the wired remote is great!

Do you see the phone function on the iPhone?

Do you see the phone function on the iPhone?

With the phone part there isn't really anything to see - once you're all configured if a cll comes in you just get an audible tone in your headphones and then you press the center button on the device to switch over to the call. Nothing displays on the screen. (It doesn't do Caller ID, if you wanted to see who was calling you'd still have to look at the phone).

I'm not sure how it would work with the iPhone, I would think you'd still see the called ID info as you normally would on the iPhone and then would decide whether or not to answer.
