Good question. The only time I used the iPod was in my car. The iPod has been in my desk drawer now for a week and a half and it still has a 3/4 charge. I will run a large playlist starting now and see how long it goes.

I will post the results when I have them.

OK, I started playing the iPod at 3/4 charge at 11 o'clock CDT. It is now almost 5 o'clock CDT and the iPod is down to 1/4 charge and it is still playing. So, it is at least 6 hours of battery life which on a 3 or 4 year old iPod isn't too bad at all.

I said before that I wasn't including any accessories with it but I do have a Belkin TuneDok (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=153999) that I don't need anymore that I can throw in.
