I'm on hunt for one of these cubes. Preferably in the cheaper realm (they go for $125 - $150 on ebay). I prefer MacRumors sellers though, as the items are usually in better condition.
I am also looking for a PPC G4 Mini. Preferably the 1.25Ghz version as I'm looking to procure one as cheaply as possible. (also willing to trade touch and possibly + cash for this). FOUND [User: Shu82]
Thanks for looking!

I have a 1.25ghz one with a 1 gig stick I put in it. What are the specs of your touch?

8GB, mint condition, comes with invisible shield worth $25.95 (unapplied) and a $35 inCase leather / suede sleeve. Also comes with new apps (less than a month old). Also, has original box, data cable, and unused headphones.
Can post pics.

No, I trust you. The mini I have doesn't have an airport or bluetooth module. Its basically the 499 version but with the 1gb of ddr in it. Would you do the touch shipped + 50 for it? If I didn't just buy and put in that ram I would have done a straight up for it, you understand.

I have a g4 cube with a 1.5ghz upgrade and 896mb of RAM, 120gb, and a MAC ATI RADEON 7000 64mb video card upgrade.
Two important things about this cube:
1-The CD drive does not work. I think the spring loader is misaligned on it and I seriously don't feel like going crazy about it since I never used it anyway.
2-The video card did not match up to the bracket correctly, so it is a little loose at the bottom. Works without any issues, but I just wanted to let you know that there is no bracket
I put a lot of work into this guy and I do value it more than what you are looking for ($100-$150).
I would be more than happy to negotiate though and can also show you references, pics....etc...etc....if you would like to talk more.
Thanks!

The lack of BT or Airport kinda puts a damper on what I want to do with it (wireless file server). I have an offer for a 1.5Ghz w/BT and Airport for $330 right now, which would be cheaper than BT/Airport mods and I wouldn't have to install them myself. I'd be more interested if it was a straight up trade, but it's clearly worth more to you than that.

Bah, I was hoping for an active member on the site. Sounds like a good setup, but even then I'd have to have you send it to me first before I sent you the trade and/or whatever cash.

sorry, I know the issues of being a new user
I can show you my ebay account and another trading site which I am apart of.
Know it doesn't mean as much, but what can I do? haha
good luck

Thats a good offer. I would go for it if you have the cash. I really should be selling mine too. I know I need cash more right now. If you feel like giving me a cash offer, go for it.
Also, you say you want to use it for a wireless file server? How much serving do you want to do? I have personal experience that streaming divx/xvid to play over wireless G with the mini in my sig is frustrating as hell and really does not work. Even a 22 minute 175mb file won't stream in real time. Just a heads up. I am going N pretty soon with my setup, and I hope that will get me there.

That's really odd, I play 360 over wireless G without a hitch and often transfer massive amounts of files at over 800k/sec (or something like it).
I'm just gonna use it to host a server for an under 20 user closed file sharing network. All it needs to do is be able to connect and send small amounts of data, nothing substantial, I just can't use my notebook since...well... I carry them around haha.

Hmm, maybe I am doing something wrong then (interference etc.). Anyway, good luck with your purchase/trade.
Everyone, I recommend this member having good trades with him in the past:D

HEY! I'm still considering the offer. Give me a day or so, I may still take you up on it :).

No worries, an offer is an offer. It never hurts to give a rec, just in case someone better comes along. Its sitting on top of my Mirror drive door, and I put it on C-list for 350 OBO, 2 weeks ago, and only weirdos and 12 year olds seem to live in my area. I will be doing some massive ebaying in the next few weeks. I have a lot of work to do this week so I won't even be considering putting it up until this weekend.
EDIT: Someone bumped an old mini thread, and it reminded me that the one I have is the 1.3. I don't know how or why, that is what "About this Mac" says.

Got a Mac Mini from Shu82, but I'm still looking for a baseline G4 Cube (450-460Mhz G4).

Have a 450 cube with 750 ram and 20 gig hd. Has a dvd/cd player, no burning if I recall. Works fine, has 10.4 installed. No speakers, but can use a usb to microphone out. Have original box as well.
Let me know if you are interested.
