A sweet and tiny PowerBook G4 has a 12-inch screen, a 1.33MHz PowerPC G4 processor, 768MB of RAM, a 60GB hard drive, a Combo Drive with CD burning and DVD reading capability, and weighs four and a half pounds.

Everything functions and runs flawlessly. It was purchased new in December of 2004. This Apple PowerBook has been owned by only one owner and was my wife's primary in-house computer. It never left the house. There are no scratches and no dings. The charger is included. The battery is newer from the recall last year. I have upgraded the RAM from the original 256MB that it came with, to 768MB of RAM. That gives it enough to be fully capable of running OSX Tiger and even Leopard.

I am including the original box that this PowerBook came in, along with the original restore disks, the charger, the charger extender cable, and a mini DVI to DVI cable.
$700

It does NOT have 1.5gb as I thought.

I can't remember specifically though exactly what chip I put in.

I had planned to put in two, but found only one slot. So, it's either 768mb or 1MB.

I feel dumb for not knowing, but to get the exact answer I'd have to get through the reg process and then do the reinstall again I think.

Just open the RAm slot and see what you put in. There is 256 on board so if you put in a 512 then you have 768, if you put in a 1 gig chip then you have 1.25, which is max i believe for this model.

... i still use this same model as my main computer (10.4.11, 768 MB RAM, upgraded to 120 GB HDD) and I gotta say it's an awesome machine. The size is unbeatable for portability, it's full featured, and handles most anything I throw at it.

I am unaffiliated with the seller... I think $700 is an okay price if it's in good condition and comes with all accessories, install discs. I would ask about the battery tho. If it lost it's charge and needs replacement then the price should be $600, IMO.

I'd expect to receive 600 shipped for this unit.
