For sale is a 2.0GHZ Core Duo 15" Macbook pro with 2GBs of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and the more expensive 256MB Radeon X1600 video card. I've had it for two years with only one problem (see below) and I'm selling it only to get one of the new ones that just came out for my business. Everything looks/works great on it with the exception of the CD/DVD burner, which doesn't always finish burning CDs, but I have had luck with restarting the computer to burn a CD/DVD right away before opening any other programs. It read CD/DVDs great, so don't worry about that. The battery hasn't been cycled too many times and still has over 80%+ capacity left.

Everyone knows what a macbook pro looks like so I didn't take a picture, it looks just like a normal one, but if someone is really interested I could take/upload one

I'm looking for around $1300 shipped, I'm in no hurry to sell it so I won't drop the price all too much. I have had a few good sales on macrumors over (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=233695 , http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=271903 )

Anyone interested at a different price? After reconsideration I realized $1300 is probably asking a little too much

Since I hear that as a feeler for price, a 2.2ghz last generation (santa rosa) macbook pro costs $1450 as a refurb. I would say that puts yours at around $1000, although the disk problem might affect that price.

I (and most people, I believe) would pay $450 for a new warranty, 8 series graphics card, better battery life, led screen, much faster processor and architecture, etc...

edit - if you want me to remove this, just drop a PM. I wasn't sure if you meant it as a opening for price suggestions.

Good luck with your sale!

You might find this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=454116&highlight=pro+1200) thread helpful with your price concerns.

Thanks both of you, it looks like you can get a pretty wide range of prices for these machines from what I've seen so far

Your local craigslist might be a great place to start if you want that full amount you originally listed, because some people will pay a higher price to do a local transaction, at the same time saving you money on fees.

Yeah I have it up there, I gotta put it up in some surrounding areas too though. I'm avoiding places like eBay/Paypal where you end up paying 5%+ in fees. Luckily I'm in no hurry

I'm not able to take it right away, but what about $1100 (to cover 5% fee) and I pay with PayPal?

Here is a picture, I've gotten a few offers so if you guys are serious references are good.

MacBooksRock that is good if it is still available when you are ready.

Received the MacBook Thursday night, amazing condition and runs like a dream. Couldn't be happier with the deal, excellent seller and fast shipper. Cheers
