This is a FS thread now. Scroll down for pics.
Just wanted to get a sense of what my powerbook is worth and how best to sell it. I'm not sure if I want to sell it yet but feel free to make offers.
It's a 15" Rev. D Powerbook with the following specs:
1.67 GHz G4
2 GB PC2700 DDR Ram
80 gig 5400 rpm hard drive
ATI Radeon 9700 (64 Mb single link DVI model)
Superdrive
Airport Extreme / Bluetooth
1 recently purchased battery - 100% health, 23 cycles, ~3.5 hours runtime
1 original battery - much lower health, many more cycles, and only ~1:15 runtime
Two apple power adaptors
Applecare through mid August 08
Original 10.4 install disks
Currently running 10.5.2 (I'd include the leopard disks too)
Incase Nylon Sleeve / Case thing
There's only one semi-major cosmetic issue. There's this small recessed gap between the bottom of the keyboard and the aluminum case. The aluminum colored paint on the gap beneath the down arrow key has peeled away revealing the shinier metal it's made out of. Otherwise, there's a few small scratches on the back of the display, but they're hardly noticeable. Oh... and while I'm thinking about it, it's missing one of the little feet on the bottom. It doesn't seem to rock at all though, so maybe that's not such a bad thing. I'll post some pics once I have access to my camera.
It was recently in for service to replace the DC / Sound inverter board to fix an issue where it would intermittently stop charging. That got fixed but now there's occasionally this popping noise that comes out of the speakers randomly. I'm going to take it back and have that looked at, but since it's still covered by applecare it shouldn't be an issue.
So what kind of price range should I be looking for? Would I be better off splitting it up and selling the newer battery, extra power adapter, leopard, and the case separately, or is it a more appealing bundle when they're included?
