I believe the 3rd gen iPod came in 10,15,20, and 30 GB versions at one point or another.

Also, I have a used 3rd gen iPod that I'd let go for $50 + shipping, with a charger and dock. 10 gigs, and a bit scratched.

I did join today. Does that make me suspect? Very silly. I got an iPhone for a present and my wife got a nano. These are just sitting around not being used.

However I did try to charge the 30 gig and the ape logo keeps appearing and resetting. The 15 gig works great.

I am well established on ebay. Is every new member suspect if they post a reply?

No, not at all. I've just been scammed in the past on eBay and these scammers are slowly making their way into trusted environments. If the 15GB works, can you send me some pics of the complete package with the iPod?
