I'm looking to upgrade to the Air, in order to save some space when traveling. It's completely stock, and it's a Core 2 Duo 2.16GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, SuperDrive. Perfect condition, no scratches, Leopard installed, comes with the box, nothing missing, etc.

The laptop also has a AppleCare registered until August 27, 2010, so you will be covered in case anything goes wrong during this time period.

Looking for $1100 shipped. Shipping is via UPS/Fedex Ground or USPS, and I accept PayPal with an additional 2% fee. Otherwise, money order is fine. PM me with any questions, and pictures are available below:

Fingerprints seem to came out very clearly on the pictures. In real life, obviously, this isn't anywhere near as prevalent. With a good wipedown, this computer is in perfect condition. No scratches, dents, dings, imperfections. Used as a secondary computer since August 27th.

THIS WAS SOLD!

I'm looking to upgrade to the Air, in order to save some space, but I'm curious as to how much I should expect to get for my Black Macbook?

I'm hoping for $1000. Is this too optimistic? Thanks! :).

I sold the exact same Blackbook for close to $1150 shipped on eBay, after fees and shipping I netted about $1050. With extended Applecare I'd say you can net about $1100. Don't accept low offers of less than $950.

Forgot to mention. It does have a 3-year Applecare.

Not quite ready to sell just yet, but thanks.

Refurbs from Apple are $999, and add whatever Apple Care you have left on it...

Eek, I didn't see that. So, $1100 shipped with AppleCare? Avoid tax, and get AppleCare for $100 :).

eBaying it would make this quite irrelevant, but iThink thats about how much you should expect after fees. eBaying it will probably be the best option, since users on here are probably not going to pay more then that even with the Apple care.

Yes, $1100 with Apple Care is reasonable...

I've been selling stuff on here to avoid eBay fees, they're pretty high. And if you try to sell a laptop, you get a lot of people with "they have a son/daughter in college in Europe, and wondering if you can ship it there, but payment is from Indonesia"...

I think $1000 for that is very reasonable. I'm not interested, but I just think it's a good deal. Ebay takes about 28% in fees if you include front end and backend fees-thats not talking about paypal's 3.5% either.
