Curious if the new OS has helped in any game performance lately, I have seen a boost in OS speed, just wondering if anyone has seen a performance boost game wise from this. Anyone?

I noticed a 10-15 fps increase in just about every facet in Armegetron. I can't say for Max Payne, or UT 2003, as I never checked them before the upgrade.

It seems to manage memory a lot better. On a mchaine with less ram games may not stutter loading sounds and stuff. Hard to say though.

I have my 10.3 UTD disks in front of me, and I just installed a bunch of games. Maybe I will run some benchies.

DOH!!! I did a 10.2.8/10.3 bench of ut2003...and I actually lost 5 frames??? This is obviously from not having the new patch for ut2003 (I DID install the openAL patch though), since some of the changes are geared toward panther?? Soon as some of the mods work under the new ut2003 patch...I'll update :D
