I am looking into selling my PowerBook to get something more portable, since I will be traveling soon. Here are the specs:

17" PowerBook G4 1.67GHz (Last revision released before the MacBook Pro was released)
2GB DDR2 RAM (1GB of Apple's RAM, 1GB of Kingston)
120GB HDD @5400RPM
16X Dual Layer SuperDrive for CD-R/DVDR/RW/+-
ATI Radeon 9700 128MB 1680x1050 resolution
2 Batteries, one holds about 45 minutes of charge, the other holds about 5 hours.
AppleCare until March 8, 2009

This is an absolutely beautiful specimen. Great care has been taken in its handling and transport.

This is the last revision of the 17" PowerBook before they replaced it with the 17" MacBook Pro. This has been my main machine for 2 years this March.

The second battery was purchased January 2008.

Comes with all boxes and software, and receipts.

It is currently running 10.5 Leopard, but due to marketplace rules, I will have to restore it to 10.4 Tiger from the original restore disks. I will restore this to its original factory state, put it back in its styrofoam sleeve, and pack the box as carefully as I would want my new purchase packed.

I have babied this thing its whole life, but there is one small scratch on the back case. It's hard to see unless you're looking for it, and I've included a picture of it with the scratch highlighted.

There are no scratches on the screen, but one small scratch on the screen CASE, on the rear of the screen, not the LCD itself.

The hard drive died and was replaced in late 2007.

This has never been dropped or abused, and has been carried in a neoprene case (which I will include) for its whole life. There are no scratches on the top case or screen. No dents, cracks, or serious scratches. All in all, I give the condition of this laptop a 9/10. The top case is flawless, the screen is perfect, and everything works like the day I got it.

I live in Canada, and my dad works for a shipping company, so shipping within Canada will be cheap. However, I don't get cheap shipping to the US.

I have sold my iPod to a MacRumors user on this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=406913) thread. I am also on eBay as xlaminax.

Here (http://picasaweb.google.com/mikejrisi/PB) are some pictures.

Asking $1300, but other reasonable offers are very welcome.

I am NOT interested in trades.
