I'm begging song submitters...

...Make comments! It s frustrating when you submit a song I am completely unfamiliar with and say nothing about what led you to submit it! Yes, I could just go listen to it, I know, but the point of this site is to get me interested in that song the way you are.

Even a few words..."catchy riff!" or "great backbeat" would suffice. You must have a reason for submitting a song...tell us what it is!

I agree, it would be nice to get something to back up a recommendation...unless it's blatantly obvious.

I'm guilty of this, and I agree that some kind of comment would be useful. Is there any way to amend the comments after the fact?

We can edit them once they are approved, so yes we can add comments after the fact. This is not encouraged though, as it can be a bit of work if the song was submitted some time ago. The way the database works is by the most recent submission, so if your song was submitted 2 weeks ago it'll take a while to find it. ;)
