I've decided that the best way to buy a laptop is based on how cool it's processor name is, Penryn is the uncoolest name I've ever heard, Nehalem or Sandy Bridge, now those sound sweet!

I think Penryn is cool. The truth is, you will never read or see the name "Penryn" on your computer. You will see "Core 2 Duo", as Penryn is a code name. But if you hate it that much, then you can switch to a G3 computer, because that has a wayy cooler name. :rolleyes:

Anyway... if you check intel.com (you just need to find the right subsite) you'll see that Crap Dumpster is in fact a platform, not a processor. Why do people always get confused about this?

Yup, you're right (www.intel.com). Crap Dumpster is just the platform, the processor I was referring to was the Core 2 Poopstain Z5000/Z7000 series of mobile processors, using the 1 nanometer process and set to be released at the April 2008 Intel Developer Forum.

I'm still buying one!
