View Full Version : Itunes US and UK song trade offer

iTunes apparently doesn’t allow people to buy songs from other countries in the iTunes store. UK customers cannot buy US songs, and vice versa.

Now, some of us have discovered a way to get an account in another country of our choice, but there is no credit to the account, and sometimes the free song of the week and album artwork just isn’t enough.

I have an offer. I would like to trade 50 songs with someone. I have a US account, and I could use the “send a gift” option to email $50 worth of songs to someone with a US account from the UK. However, I would like that someone with an existing UK account to send me a £40 gift as well. Both amounts equal about 50 songs each. (the monetary amounts may be different, but there's nothing I can do about that.)

But here’s the trick: I don’t know that I can trust just anyone out there. I could send them my gift, but they might not send me theirs. So I’m going to have the person send me the gift first and I suppose you’ll just have to trust me to do the same.

I will most likely choose the first person to meet these requirements and leave their email. Then I will email them…and so on and so forth. Interested?

I will only do this trade once, so don’t come emailing me repeatedly asking for more gifts.

Now That's Not Really A Good Idea I Smell Scam And I Don't Think Anyone Is As Dumb As To Do Something Like This.

BTW Get A UK Account Using The No Credit Card Option Then Buy UK iTunes Gift Cards It's Much Simpler Than This.

Just Noticed This IS Your First Post So You Need Some Real Good Luck

Awesome plan. I'm sure those in the US will love the fact that £40 is $80 at the current exchange rate.

Against forum rules (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:Forum_Rules) and a very risky proposal anyway.
