This is more of an iGav submission, but I couldn't pass it up.

I'd love to see one of these car lighters installed into the bay of a computer. If anyone knows of one or splurges for it - take a pic of the thing ;)

I sure hope they ship internationally -- they won't get too many orders from NYC, but I'll bet it would be a good seller in Paris or Seoul even if it couldn't charge a cell phone!
I wonder if I could put one in a 5.25" external enclosure and plug it into a FireWire connection....:D
Thanks, folks! You've been great! I'll be here all week!:D

Yeah, those Euros and Koreans really like their smokes...
What a great idea, too! Id actually enjoy the novelty of charging my cell phone via my computer cigarette lighter/12v power slot.

That is totally awesome. It would be a great thing to show my geek friends. heh.
$15.00 is a bit pricy though...
public class SigBox
public static void main (String[] args)
{
System.out.println("This is G5orbust, signing off.");
}
System.out.println("Java is annoying");
cout << "from my experiences I like c++ better" << endl;
but that is off topic, sorry.

an electric pencil sharpener/ stapler..we'll call this the combo drive.
The superdrive model will include a hole puncher.

The only reason that it is of any value is to charge or run a cell phone or lap top. You would also need an adaptor. It should have the Apple logo inprinted instead of a cigarette. We don't want to tarnish the Mac, unless the idea is that it's just for window's! :p

You've totally missed the point here.
It is pretty much useless - about as useful as that extra 3rd of 4th drive bay on a pc anyway ;) Why not spend $15 and put a cigarette lighter in? And it is a working lighter, not just to be used for power :D

that's a wee bit harsh, but the idea of a cig lighter in my spare optical bay is interesting to say the least
Did you all see some of the other crap they sell.
Wooden PC Tower just for starters. (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/cas-92.html)
or
Too Fast too Furious (http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/lit-71.html) neon

how about a cardbus version? us portable users like to smoke/charge our cell phones, too.
