Hmm, maybe because the MacBooks were released more than a month ago? Just a thought.

Yesterday the store had a "New" icon next to the Macbook and Macbook Pro. Today they don't.

Just a glitch. Move along....

I guess that is the cutoff for their stuff being worthy to be called new.

Today = tuesday => multiple of weeks since release => timed "new" label

thanks for all your obnoxious responses. I am waiting for the new imac to buy my first apple ever. I've been reading this forum for months and finally wanted to join in. I wanted to know what others felt by the "new" being gone along with the speculation of a new imac/mac mini that maybe there would be a new "new" sign.

Why didn't your first post contain the above contents? I mean, did you expect users here to read your mind? And, when you realized they didn't you're now mad? NO ONE new what you were talking about in your OP, perhaps you should look in the mirror before getting upset with others here.
