EDIT now £1550
Hi,
Selling my Mac Pro which was purchased from Apple at the end of Feb 2008. Due to change in circumstances i now require a laptop and fear i wont use the MP much.
Specs are...
2.8ghz 8 core
2gb Ram
320 HD
8800GT 512mb GPU
Bluetooth + Airport Card
I paid £1900 for it and i'm after £1650, so a nice little saving. If you require further info let me know.
I can arrange courier with insurance at further charge, or collection welcome. (West Sussex)

No sorry that is too low. This is almost a brand new machine and already saving a few hundred of the cost price.

Does it have everything, box manuals disks receipts etc? Which mouse did you choose? What condition is the keyboard in? Do you have any photos?
I've a quote for 1468.75 (benefits of being in higher education) new, not including AirPort or Bluetooth (thought they came as standard). I'd therefore offer £1500.
I appreciate this may well be too much of a loss for you, so I won't at all be offended, just let me know either way. I have established eBay and PayPal accounts if you'd prefer to sell it where we're both protected from trying to rip each other off...!!

Hi Applematt,
It has the Wireless Mighty Mouse and Wired Keyboard, but i'm afraid your offer is a bit too low. Thanks for your enquiry though.
If you can get the education discount then i would do that my friend.

Well the difference is justification...the education store isn't going anywhere so there's no real justification (to the other half...) of buying it right now. This is why I've been considering it since January. However, a 'once in a lifetime' deal, told dramatically with a bit of alcohol first...winner.
Plus there's the build wait time with the store. How about £1550? That's pretty much 95% of your asking price, what most houses go for incidentally.
