Has anyone seen this yet? Looks like a proper chick flik, but dare I say it, (cannot BELIEVE I'm saying this), it actually looks like it might be quite good

What's the verdict?

edit: I'm an idiot! Just noticed on an add that it's not actually out until the 21st  maybe I'll give the thread a bump nearer the time ;)

I have not seen it either. Going by what I have seen on TV, it seems like it might be worth a look. Probably will wait for it to come out on DVD.

The ads show Martine McCutcheon in it, and all I can think about is Grant and East Enders. :)

The cast looks pretty good. Let's hope that the movie will also be good.

i saw it already.
its hands down the best movie of its genre i have seen...it combines wit and bittersweet emotions.
its something of a chick flick, yes. but im not a normal chick and i enjoyed it.

I'm definitely a chick-flick guy. But I saw "Down With Love" over the summer and it was quite possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I'll probably see "Love, Actually", but I hope it has just a smidge more substance.

How did you see it?

And I thought Down With Love looked very good. Chick flicks aren't my thang, but that one looked good to me.

This "Love Actually" movie looks good too. Looks like it could be tops in it's genre, although it's genre is full of the most cliche-riddled movies ever written. Very few chick flicks do anything for me.

-Sleepless In Seattle
-Jerry MacGuire.

.....that's it, I think.

oops, sorry, forgot to explain that.
i saw it last thursday as a pre-release screening...the local gigantor movie theater combined with a radio station for the promotion and invited the employees of area stores.
also, its been out here (boston) since last friday.
