Looking to buy an iSight in the UK, trying to keep to a budget of under £80 shipped. Let me know if any of you can do it.
eBay is way over-priced and i can't get hold of any refurb. I'd be happy to get it shipped from the US, if someone has one available. ~$160 Shipped.
Preferably looking for boxed, excellent condition with magnetic or LCD mount.
Thanks.

Isn't it illegal for you to buy one over there now? EU regulations and all.
A little bit about that: The EU banned one of the chemicals in the external iSight. Thus, Apple had to stop selling it there. However, Apple also pulled it from the U.S. market, even though there is no such ban here.
Moral: Pull a product from a market that disallows it, but keep selling it where it is still allowed. If those under the jurisdiction of the ban want to break their own laws by purchasing one from here, that's their problem.

Yeah i read about the discontinuation of the iSight in Europe, i guess they figured it was then a good time to pull the product line completely. I believe it must only be illegal to trade this items on a wholesale/commercial basis, hence why the private sales are not being controlled in any way.
Thanks but hopefully someone will come up with something.
