You can sometimes find mac users on Bnet through this
go to East or West Gateway and go to channel GR
I'm on that channel once in awhile with some friends from Gameranger.

Hmmmmm, that would be fun to have a MR SC clan, though I've always hated clans with a passion, I'd be tempted to join it.
Oh yeah, and gameranger sucks.

Starcraft is still an awesome game, lacking a modern graphics engine. I wouldn't consider Starcraft Ghost (http://www.blizzard.com/ghost/) a sequel since it is a console based game.

Blizzard has said that they want to make a SC 2, but that they are not currently working on it, or at least they are not currently admitting to working out it. SC is old, but can be fun. Aside from that, it's not like new Mac games are coming out all the time, especially for those of us with older machines. Though I do still need to try out WC 3 now that I bought more RAM. I lent it to a friend because it was unbelievably jerky on my com and never bothered to get it back

my friend finally returned my Broodwar CD finally, THIS YEAR!
So i've been playing it, just so I could finally say that I've finished both sets. I rarely play online, but we do have IT vs rest of the comp when we dont have too much work, or alot of people are still here after work... IT usually kicks ass...but anyways, I wouldn't mind playing some people... ill see if i have time to cruise onto bnet.

Ahh starcraft, its been so long, I was dettered by the fact it all came down to the fastest operator, who could execute their build pattern the quickest, there was never any room for creativity unless you wanted to be smashed... shame
I'd love to waste many the hour playing Star Craft. I used to play in the dorms at school, but not being in the tight niche, It's much more difficult.

The only way I'd every join was if it was a good clan with good players.
It doesn't sounds like many of y'all are the kind of people I'd look for in a clan. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
It's just that if I was to join a clan I'd want other 500+-500+ players, people like myself who haven't even touched another game for years, and people who know all the ins and outs of starcraft.
Sorry, but I don't think there are many (if any) people on MacRumors who fit that description.
If I was to join a clan it would be a more... prestigious one... Not to sound pretentious or anything.
