installing torrents

hi
i downloaded battlefield 1942 torrent for my mac, running leopard
ive only had it since march so im still getting to grips with it, after being a pc user all my life

the problem is, when i click on the icon for battlefield, it says "please insert disk"

ive tried burning it to a dvd but it keeps coming up
any suggestions?
