Well compared to $100 at OWC, which is usually tough to beat, or Crucial at $92, this looks good for a 1 GB Samsung module:

$59 at Data Memory Systems (http://www.datamemorysystems.com/G4_PowerBook_Memory.asp), who have excellent customer service.
But which Powerbook is it for, OP?

Theres RAM on sale at both Best Buy and Circuit City, 60 dollars for a 1GB stick.
I dont think you're really gonna find it any cheaper than 50-55 bucks.

that's definitely a picture of a Samsung factory original module... but if it is truly Samsung, it's well under what Samsung is offering it to us for, way below. If our cost was that - we'd not be anywhere near as high as we are right now. So - if Samsung, that is a smoking deal - make sure it's what is pictures.
We have non-Samsung original for $51.95 and $57.99 also. The more expensive of the two is built on a PCB and with chips that supports Apple's fun and shortly utilized bus sluing technology. Modules with this tolerance are needed for many of the PowerBook G4 15" and 17" models 1.0GHz to 1.33GHz. When using standard modules where the bus sluers are needed, systems tend to not wake from sleep. All Samsung original support... but, for example, Micron Factory original and no current Micron device based on 3rd modules will work.
I remember back in the day when Micron was A-OK in the systems... and then they went from a Rev C to a Rev D chip die. While nothing wrong with the chips or modules built with them functionally - they couldn't handle the bus voltage level drop in those PowerBooks during the sluing thing - and suddenly had a new Apple only thing to spec for. Rev C Micron chips dried up pretty quickly... and after that no Micron die since worked.
I don't know the full story on why Apple started and killed the memory bus energy saver thing.... but no iBook G4 and no Powerbook G4 12" or any model 1.5GHz and faster has this as a factory when it comes to what memory works. There also isn't an official spec per say that documents the sluing for the machines that do it.

Classic bait and switch...
The link below no longer posts a pic of a Samsung module for $55 which it did earlier today.

Not a bad deal, i just ordered a stick for my Powerbook. I was going to buy two 512mb sticks from a friend for the same price; but i figured this would be a better deal, since they offer Paypal payments, and from some auctions i had, it made the price even cheaper.
