Can't even access Address Book.app? No thanks.

Hmm, I don't think you understand why I chose not to import Addressbook.app contacts. The information there doesn't contain carriers so you would have to enter it anyway.

Good point, but it would save me the trouble of entering the name and the number, wouldn't it?

Well, I would have to both agree and disagree on that point. True, you may not have to enter the phone number and name, but what if you have a cellphone and a home phone listed on the same person? This could make things more complicated.

Well, I couldn't get it going. I added my carrier to the list, entered my phone number and sent a message, but didn't receive it. But if I type the first half of my phone's email address into the Number box, it works. But I can accomplish the same thing with Mail, and don't see why I should use Communiqué instead.

Ha. Not Bad: worked just fine on my Sprint PCS phone. Could be cool to send texts to my friends in London and Dublin. They are on Orange I believe. But... I don't think it's worth 9 dollars.

I'm in NZ and it doesn't work by number, only by email address (on Vodafone). But you can just use Mail to do the same job.
