New Ati Drivers Anyone?

According to xlr8yourmac ATI has relased new drivers which at first had some bugs, but since been fixed.
Has anyone tried these new drivers and noticed any improvements?
What are your thoughts?

I have manually installed the retail ATI drivers before but never found much to get excited about.

The new drivers will be most noticable when playing games.
New drivers are always a good thing
