The one game I play daily on my Mac is America's Army. I use a 20" Apple Cinema Display powered by a Dual 2GHz Power Mac G5 (ATI Radeon 9600 Pro).

In a magazine review of America's Army (either by MacCentral or MacAddict), they mentioned that it supports widescreen displays yet didn't mention how to enable it. I've looked high and low in settings within America's Army for such an option and I cannot find it.

Can someone enlighten me as to where this setting is located or if it's an editorial error? Thanks.

Go to:
library/application support/America's Army 1.9/system/

Open the document armyops.ini and find:

[SDLDrv.SDLClient]
...
FullscreenViewportX=x
FullscreenViewportY=x

Replace the x with the resolution you wish to use, save it and voilá!

I must say, that's quite complicated for a system that's supposed to be easy to use :rolleyes:

I know that the blame lies on the developer though, not the Mac OS or Apple.
