Just wondering what my MBP is worth with the current damage done to it. Other then the one dent, this machine is absolutely perfect. No AppleCare but is still eligible for a little while.
Could anyone give me an idea?

is it a santa rosa chipset? I would say lower than the other guy... maybe 1200 with the damage, which is obvious from a drop...

if you take into account that model goes for 1449 refurb and thats with one year of applecare and no damage, id say 1200. Check PM

I dont think it would go for much more on macrumors, as we are in the know on refurbs etc... but the general public on ebay and such is less savvy so you might get 1350-1400 there... maybe even more as ebay shoppers dont make much sense....

No I agree, I didn't think the 1200 offer was bad. However, this is just a feeler thread and I am not ready to sell quite yet. I'll let you know if I am going to.

Refurbs with those same specs are $1,449 at Apple right now.
I think $1,200 would be fair considering the damage and lack of a full year's warranty.

I just bought a brand new with these specs for $1400, so the offers are on par IMO.

Considering the damage, be happy to get $1200. Although it doesn't seem that bad, surely less people will be willing to buy something that's cosmetically damaged.
