it's just a feeler for the whole package right now. If I do break it up when I sell, I'll contact you.

I believe your package is worth about $350. This is where I draw my price from:
Wii Sports pkg: $200
Smash Bros: $35
Mario Kart: $35
Zelda: $10
Wii Play: $10
Bee Movie Game: $10
Extra Nunchuck and Controller: $40
Charging Base: $10

Wii's are much more readily available and don't command the money they once could of used. Just this past weekend I called the two nearest Gamestops in my area and they had Wii's still in stock from Wednesday.

Good luck with your sale.

If it helps give you an idea, I sold a Wii with two Wiimotes, one Nunchuck, component cable, Sports, Zelda, Madden '07 and Tiger Woods '07 all for $300.

i think your wii alone is worth the FULL $250.

overall, they are still hard to find, and even though they may not command a price premium like they used to, they do retain their full value

on ebay, new ones are going for about $330 shipped, but when you break it down, after paying for taxes ($15), ebay fees ($15), paypal fees ($10), and shipping ($10), they are probably making only $20-$30

the value of the component cables depend on who makes it, nintendo or a 3rd party no-name.

the charging base is $30 new, so probably $15-20 used
the extra controller is is $60 new, so probably $45-50

the numbers overall seem "lowball" but i'm basing my pricing from COMPLETED auctions on ebay

no way. wii's are available everywhere now that it's not the holiday season. there's no point of buying one used off of someone online for full price when you can get one all day any day brand new. $200 is all it's worth at the most.

i guess it is "location location location"

in my area, wii's are still no where to be found.
if you check ebay, used ones are still easily $260-$310 (again, this is based off of ACTUAL transactions)
ebay fees generally run you about 5% of the item cost, and you probably would be paying paypal fees (3%) either here or ebay.
just by the numbers, even if you sold JUST the Wii for $260, after ebay fees would be $245, still more than what others have offered you here.

dibara2003, to get the most for your money, part the games/accessories here, and then go to ebay.

ebay buyers are not interested in combos, since it is a "take-it-or-leave-it"

Thanks for that analysis. In your opinion, lets say i break everything apart. what would you think i could get in total. The component cables are Mad Catz btw. I'm pretty sure I can throw in 1 more game, either no more heroes or super mario galaxy. If i can get a decent amount, then I think I'll part. If not, I'll just keep it. Thanks everyone!

individually,
newer games are worth $35-40 (galaxy, kart, Smash brothers)
older games are worth less $10-$15 (if you try to trade them in to gamestop, etc, you'll get less than $10)

component cables (especially generic) are too numerous to count on ebay, but as long as you've tested them out, the value would be around $10. Nintendo branded costs $30 brand new.

you could bundle the extra controllers with the wii since the need for controllers is universal

i personally would be interested in zelda if you decide to part out.

i'm aiming for $450. I'm going to price everything out. If I part, I'll PM you on the Zelda. Thanks

looks like you're taking 'if you part it out request' so can I get the component cables and the extra nunchuck/controller?

You must be really dying to get a Wii if you are willing to pay someone full retail for used equipment. I also do not know where you get that a controller is $60. A new controller is $40 and I'm sure the one he is advertising came with the Wii play which is a $50 package.

Our suggestions are not lowballs, they are what they are (Real). If i sold my Wii for $200 bucks right now I would feel like I made out very well. Also, you need to remember that when sold as a package it needs to suit peoples preferences. There are people out there who would like a used Wii but maybe only want Mario Kart and Smash Bros, so why are they going to dish out extra money for games they could care less for like Bee Movie. So you either sell quickly at a reasonable price or part it out, make a little more but run the risk getting stuck with accessories and prolong the sale.

Since this is a thread in which the poster asked for pricing opinions I will openly say $450 is def on the very high side. Call gamestop for a quote on all of your items then be happy with anything you can get above that on this forum or Ebay. Good luck with your sale.

I personally am not willing to pay full retail for used equipment, but lot of people on ebay are. And I've repeated many times that my estimates are based on ACTUAL ebay transactions.

the OP lists the wii remote and nunchuck together ($40+$20). whether the remote comes from Wii Play or from a retail package is irrelevant. it doesn't diminish the value of the remote. It would diminish the value of the Wii play game, which is why i list the older games as being $10-$15.

I've already detailed what OP would get for his Wii after fees. and i've already mentioned that packages are harder to sell. The OP asked me what prices he could get if he parted it out individually.

gamestop is the probably the worst place for a seller. They give you sooo little so they can turn it around to resell for a much higher price to make a profit. at least with games, their offers are practically insulting. I would use gamestop as a last resort.

You will get the most from ebay, even less from the forums, and the least from gamestop. ebay is the most trouble, but gets you the most. the forums are more convenient, but then there is more haggling. gamestop is the easiest but gives you the absolute least.
