I guess I need the cash more than this, so here goes.

The good:
1.5GHz PowerPC G4
1.25GB RAM
100GB HD
SuperDrive
Bluetooth 2
Scrolling trackpad
USB 2.0
64MB VRAM

The not so good:
Missing F12 Key, might fix that though.
Battery lasts ~30 mins
No AirPort card
Adapter has a fraying connection with the tip and cord, but it still works perfectly.

Now for sale, $500 shipped. Money order or Paypal.
Will also trade for an 12" iBook G3/4+ Cash.

I'm looking to get a 1.33 on CL for $400. It's got the same specs but has a good battery all software and a working ac adapter.

In it's current condition and with no airport and weak battery. I wouldn't think you could get more then $500 on MacRumors. I'd list it on ebay because I don't know why but there's lots of suckers there that will pay more.

The dents on the top really make the value go down in my opinion, Id say 450 - 500

You might be able to get the battery replaced due to the recall. That could potentially bump up the value a bit.

I'd say $500 is fair for the condition it is in. I got mine (which is maxed out) for $650, but the machine is in good condition with only a little dent on the rear left corner, but given your lack of some keys and how yours has seen better days cosmetically $500 is a fair price for it.

I would agree. But I think he may end up getting about $350- $400 for it. There are a lot of 12" G4s going for $500 and less because the users are trying to either get rid of them, or are just trying to recoup the costs of a MBA. I have seen custom 1.5GHz books with maxxed RAM and 120GB HDDs going for $500 (http://baltimore.craigslist.org/sys/661928118.html), and they are in good shape, and with Leopard.

Not that you can't get the same thing if you find someone willing to shell out for it though.

OK, I'm looking to replace the keys at the Apple store if they can. The battery already had been replaced by the recall :(.
I guess $500 might be OK.

You can buy the keys off of ebay also. I think they are five bucks a piece.
The only keys I have trouble putting back on myself are the home, page,end...my bird loves to pluck them off even if I don't watch her for a minute. Sometimes I can put them back on and sometimes I can't.

what did you trade him?

I traded him an HP Pavilion, an old Thinkpad, and a laptop stand for his Powerbook and iBook.
