its common for companies to copyright building elements.

most large firms have corporate design standards, and usually staircases, entrances, facades, among other things have strict design guidelines

i wouldnt be surprised if apple did the same thing

this appears to be a transparent staircase - a peeping tom´s dream come true

but then i could be terribly wrong

That first one's the black and white version of the Rendevous icon. Not surprising to see that copywrited.

The staircase looks kind of similar to the staircase found in the 2-story Apple retail stores (The Grove, North Michigan Avenue)

The radio frequency thing appears to be the trademark stuff for slot loading drives. (Metntions cloth protective pieces, and specifically CD and DVD)
