I have a brand new AppleTV, owned it a week, and I'm just not using it as much as I thought I would. It's really cool, but just doesn't fit my needs.

I thinking of selling it for $275 shipped, HDMI cable included. Have all original packaging, reciept, etc.

Assuming this is the latest/greatest model (new leopard box type etc) I would be interested in it for around the price you mentioned (would offer $260 shipped).

Was the HDMI cable included? I ask because I may be interested, but I'm comparing it with a refurb, which is currently going for $269, I believe. I'm not sure if they come with cables or not...

It's the newest packaging, just bought it last week.

HDMI cables are not included with the new ones or refurb ones. They're usually $25- $30.

I'll take pictures tonight.

If it's a really high quality hdmi cable (not the generic 5 dollar ones from eBay) then I'll give you full asking price...

you do know all HDMI cables are the same right, the 100 dollar ones work exactly the same as the 5 dollar ones

I'm selling it for the cash to likely put towards an iPhone, so that would be the only trade I'd really consider.

The HDMI cable is a standard HDMI cable, branded from the electronics store where I got it. It was about $30. This is it: http://www.smalldog.com/product/44092.

Absolutely... there was a rather amusing blind test done with very expensive monster cables versus... COAT HANGERS... no kidding... and no difference. Many said the coat hangers sounded better (not knowing of course).

Anyway... Just trying to see where the value of everything she's possibly selling is... figured if it is a more expensive cable, it probably has at least a better fit/finish than the 5 dollar ones (quality aside)...
