Apple certianly won't realese the G4 iBooks untill they have G5 Powermacs. I also think they will go with a redesign, hopefully to add more firewire ports.

I really don't think that you will see the G4 in an iBook for a while. The G3 still has life left in it, and is a good niche player in the notebook market. As far as more than one firewire port. I really don't think you will see that either. Multiple firewire ports is really for pros, not comsumers.
