Do you ever wonder what macbooks within the next few years? What new designs/technologies they will have? I for one am hoping they start making colored macbooks :o like yellow or pink.... That would be awesome! What do you think the future of macbooks look like? (It doesn't have to be macbooks- it could be mac in general)

Hopefully, not like the OP's text. Could you tone it down a bit. It's really difficult to read. Uhh, ohhh, I think I have a migraine headache, thank you very much! :(

While looking down that abyss of technology (specifically the MB) I am blinded by the speed of these lightweight, (1&1/2lbs) touchscreen, handheld computer tablets, with solar panels that power the MB for up to 14 days. But, beyond that I'm waiting to upgrade my v1 Apple iPhone with the v2 32GB iPhone. "That's how I roll!" :p:D

Thats solar stuff is sick! They need to put on one of those on our macbooks- then we could leave it in the sun for like five minutes & we'd be pretty much good! Actually it would probably take a lot longer...

Solar or Windmill would be cool. Just have a difficult time seeing a windmill hooked-up to my MB or iPhone! LOL :p

Yep, been here since 1989. It doesn't get too hot out here and the traffic is only bad for a couple of hours. I enjoy going to Macworld SF each year, and checking out the new Apple products. There's nothing like the Golden Gate Bridge or the fog as it rolls in on top of the Golden Gate Bridge. Best food around, but it's a bit expensive to live out here. You ever visit SF?

i hope next year there will be a thinner aluminium MacBook with the black MacBook Air keyboard but still has an optical drive, core 2 duo, more inputs such as firewire (but dont mind if in doesnt have ethernet) to differentiate from the MacBook Air.
im going to sell my MacBook Pro and purchase a gaming PC so i dont need the graphics.
i would be all over this in a flash!
EDIT: can i flirt please? ;)

I did my undergraduate work at Cal, and just finishing up my graduate studies in Communications at SFSU. It's still windy and we don't call them "hobos" anymore; we call them "homeless" and we try to give them spare change and leftovers and once in a great while we like to give them a warm coat during the cold months, (Berkeley thing). But, yes they are still out here and definitely crazy! It's nice to have many different coffee shops or cafe/deli shops, providing competition for Starbuck's.

And by "we" you mean all of SF? because thats not true i know many people who call them hobos. And you think you can represent all of the people that live there? Im not sure they'd like you talking for them very much.

"I" stand corrected! Gawd, I need to work on that, 'cause I've been overusing "we" lately. :o

I do that a lot too! But San Francisco is great! I have family that lives out in California, and I always try to make a stop in SF and around Berkley. Awesome areas to visit!
