The thing I don't understand, was this someone just playing around or did MR get a letter from Apple. If they didn't I don't see what the issue is.

GPS would be imbedded into google maps. it wouldn't be a seperate application. Like I said if its on the top by the battery and wifi icon then its understandable but it would have its own application icon

They could paint the inside of the glass any color they want (like the black around the screen on the front of current iPhones). This would confirm the white and black color options as well as the glossy (read: fake, plastic) old leaked photos.

Because I was as frustrated over this dumb thread as the rest of you I spent my lunch hour searching all the links associated with this fiasco and eventually found what I think to be "the pictures" that are referred to. All the threads and web-sites talking about this seem to point to these pictures.

Possibly there are real pictures somewhere that have already been taken down, it's hard to tell when using babel fish to translate.

anyway these pictures are:

- obviously fake
- not pictures but renderings
- hopelessly ugly (if true)

These are *fake* iphone pictures, posted as such, and are all over the European part of the web on various "legit" websites so there should be no privacy, or proprietary problems with them. Please do not remove them.

I posted this thread to see if anyone had pictures that Apple apparently asked to be removed from Myspace (just to see them, didn't care if they were real or not). Then it turned into, I have pictures, but will not share them. Then it was there was never any pictures in the thread because Apple told me to take them off of my Myspace page, etc, etc. Now it is just getting stupid.

I thought if pictures appeared Apple just forces you to take them down. They don't sue people do they? Oh well, looks like we will get nothing (fake or real) here.

I hate to say it as this is my thread, but move along nothing to see here.

EDIT: Also, it really seemed like something legit was going on when I posted this thread since threads were disappearing from MR, etc. Now we know why.
