Apple Pro Mouse Just Quit!!

Ok, i have an iBook G3 900/128mb. I usually use the usb mouse when im just sitting at a desk or something but i disconnected it for about a day and then plugged it back in... but it just flashed the red light once and nothing else. Ive tried both usb slots and can't think of anything else. Please HELP!

can you test it on another machine? my guess is that it just died, these things are notorious for having problems with weak cables... tho supposedly that's been fixed... if it's something in the mouse, you are really better off buying a new one.

if the mouse works on another machine, it could be a software or USB issue. repair permissions, i suppose, but i would guess it's the mouse itself.

Lol. I once made an application when I was first starting out with applescript studio, to play around in interface builder. It was a little window that said "Restarting Makes It Better" and then there was a button that restarted your computer. How right I was...:D
