I just bought a new ipod from my college bookstore for my girlfriend and when we opened the box, the apple logo was already on the screen. When we plugged it into an outlet, the apple logo remained on the screen. I tried to hook it up to her PB 15" and could hear the ipod HD whir, but the apple logo remained. The ipod buttons are unresponsive and I have checked the hold button. Can anybody tell me what next?
