Anyway, its a 15.2" 1Ghz Powerbook with 1GIG of RAM, 60GB HDD, DVD-R/CD-RW SuperDrive, 64MB ATI Radeon 9000 Pro and a Airport card installed. The price is 1999.99 plus shipping but has alot included. There are no scratches or problems at all with the laptop. No dead pixels either. PRE-INSTALLED MAC OS 10.3 PANTHER. Includes a MacCase 15" Powerbook Case, AC Adapter, Software Restore CD and Original Box from Apple. I am including pre-installed software including Microsoft Office v.X, Adobe Creative Suite CS and more from buyers request (just let me know and ill let you know if i have it). I also have pictures of the powerbook and i am totally cool with talking on the phone. I also have a 1st gen 10GB ipod for sale to be included with this purchase. If you want the Ipod, add 150 to the total. Any other questions please feel free to ask. Also, if you would like to contact me by instant messaging, my AOL/AIM Screename is: JDRasta2. to isus: well, 1900 is really my goal to sell this machine, otherwise id be losing alot more money. i mean, with all of the software, the case, the quality of the computer...i think it is worth 1900. besides, i accept paypal as i am paypal verified, money orders, and cash. i will definetly be willing to negotiate.

to acid rock: thanks for the offer, but it seems like your monitor wouldnt be a fair trade, considering the things you would give me wouldnt exceed 1300 and i am really looking for someone to buy in the 1800-1900 range.

hey actually I don't need the software and the deal would just be to save you money when you're upgrading. If you change your mind feel free to email me and let me know. -n

unless you intend to include the lisences/COA for the software you are "selling" with this computer, your software is considered warez

Warez is worth absolutely zero when trying to sell it. Not to mention it's strictly prohibited on these forums

per the macrumors forum rules (http://forums.macrumors.com/announcement.php?f=14)

These aren't instantly bannable - but will get you edited and or warned.

1) Off-topic posts in the non-Community discussion areas. Keep it free of off topic posts. Off-topic posts will be deleted/edited. If you keep doing it see #4.
2) Warez
3) "Trolling" - this is more of a pattern, and will get you banned... but can be a subjective call. Basically, don't try to pick fights.
4) Anything ongoing actions that require more work for everyone involved. If banning you is easier than dealing with the problems you are causing, you will be banned.

You are going to hate me for pointing this out but...

The gb of RAM is good as is the AP card but Apple has some of these on their site for $1600 right now. That comes with free shipping and 1 year warranty.

That is probably why you are not getting offers.

PBs took some very big price hits this week.

I think if you offered it for $1650 shipped that it would go relatively fast.

maybe also because it's a TiBook and not an AluBook. Apple has been making Powerbooks with all-silver for almost a year and a half. (Granted, the 15" wasn't updated with the intro of the 17" and 12",) but anyway - it "looks" like an older model.

it will be sold without the software, although panther is pre-installed and that will stay. the price is still 1900.00

the tibook is great... i think 1900 is more than fair... the computer new was like what 3200.00... plus the RAM... when i got mine i got the ram for free as part of some double your RAM deal... the airport card came installed...

the real speed is indeed 1ghz... the superdrive tibook was the last one before the Al's...

i think the tibooks are cooler than the Albooks anyways...

sorry for the rant...

you are finally someone who i can relate to...i would agree with everything you said. and yes, i paid 3200 when it was brand new from apple.com.

Admins,

please delete this thread. It is pointless because the Powerbook is not for sale anymore.

thanks.
